System Analyst

Systems Analyst are responsible for delivering projects and initiatives involving system processes, change and solutions. Systems analysts assess the suitability of systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcome.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Assess the suitability of systems in terms of their intended outcomes.
• Liaise with end users, software vendors and programmers to achieve the outcome.
• Identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the system.
• Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology.
• Collect detailed user and functional requirements, analyse them, and translate them into programming solutions.
• Plan, evaluate and support R&D plans to meet business objectives.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for assigned systems and processes.
• To establish processes to collect and analyze internal and external market data to derive business insights.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments when required.
• Work directly with clients to understand the individual needs of the business.
• Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion.

Qualifications and requirements :

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar field
• Minimum 3 years’ working experiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to draw insights from data, research, and design practical and scalable solutions.
• Initiate and drive projects together with product owners and software teams.
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication with all levels of people
• Excellent on documentation, management, information analysis
• Must be organized, work gracefully under pressure and switch between projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment

Skills and experience :

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in managing data from different sources or system
• Experience in ERP system & implementing analytical/big data analytics solution
• Experience in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources and perform ETL (extract transfer load) scripts.
• Experience with Business Intelligence(BI) tools is highly recommended.
