We are looking for Technical Services Engineer with good technical capabilities in supporting and
maintaining REDtone services. You are responsible to implement best practices, automate tasks and to
ensure uninterrupted network/system services. You will be working closely with Network team to facilitate
network delivery
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct service availability survey at customer premises
- Willing to travel and working at height area
- Coordinate & supervise contractors’ installation and wiring work, ensure quality of work
- Install, configure, test and commission wireless transceiver and network switches, router installation at Base Station or Customer Premises
- Troubleshoot problems with wireless transceiver system, network routers and switches, make corrections where required
- Handle technical support calls, system troubleshooting and repair, performance preventive maintenance test
- Prepare survey report, wiring diagram, installation report, etc
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments when required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/
Network or relevant, Fresh graduates/ Entry level are encouraged to apply - Frequent travelling and outstation assignment , working nights and odd hours
- Good discipline and work attitude, team player, able to interact with people of all level
- Accurate documentation of all activities conducted
- Must own transport (car)
Skills and experience
- Required to work at height, climb 15m pole with climbing rungs, climb & work on Telco towers
- Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Accurate documentation of all activities conducted
- Knowledge in LAN, wireless technology, internet services, hands-on experience on wireless devices, broadband routers, cisco routers/switches, firewall is additional advantage
- Training will be provided
