Solution Architect cum Project Manager

The Solution Architect and Project Manager role focuses on customizing a well-designed B2B and B2C CRM platform to meet specific customer requirements. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their business needs, utilizing the CRM platform’s functionalities, and overseeing the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation. The role also requires regular communication with the CRM development team in China to resolve any technical issues and ensure alignment. A strong combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and cross-cultural communication is essential.

 

Duties and responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Analyze customer needs and design tailored solutions using the CRM platform’s B2B and B2C functionalities.
  • Provide technical consultation and validate solutions through PoCs and feasibility assessments.

2. Project Management:

  • Define project scope, create detailed plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee project execution, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery.

3. Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary technical contact, gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and maintaining communication.
  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Collaboration with Technical Team:

  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure smooth implementation and customization of solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, sales) to meet customer requirements.

5. Customization & Implementation:

  • Lead the customization and integration of CRM solutions to meet specific client needs.

6. Training & Documentation:

  • Deliver customer training and create technical documentation for smooth handover and support.

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, particularly B2B and B2C platforms, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the CRM development team in China on technical matters.

Skills and experience

1. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable solutions using CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, web services, and databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure.

2. Project Management:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile).
  • Experience using project management tools for planning and tracking progress.

3. Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar technical role.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with technical staff.

4. Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with technical teams and customers.

5. Problem-Solving & Adaptability:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
