Senior System Engineer

The role is responsible for the availability, security, and performance of enterprise IT systems, end-user computing, network infrastructure, and virtualized environments. The role includes hands-on troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, backup and disaster recovery management, and enforcement of security controls to support stable operations and compliance requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

VM Virtualization Platform: (Main Responsibility)

• VM Platform Orchestration: Administer and maintain high-availability virtualization platforms, including Dell EMC VxRail, IPServerOne, and the dedicated Disaster Recovery (DR) Site at CJ1.
• Data Protection & Backup Strategy: Execute rigorous backup and replication protocols. Monitor daily task completion to ensure that all production-critical Virtual Machines (VMs) are backed up and replicated according to the RPO (Recovery Point Objective).

MIS Portal Development and Management (Main Responsibility)

• Maintain Portal to enable real-time, accurate inventory of all IT assets.
• Ensure configuration backups for critical infrastructure (Firewalls/Switches) are documented and version controlled.
• Knowledge transfer of this portal to R&D

Network Architecture & Maintenance: (Support Responsibility)

• Transfer knowledge to Network team
• Design, implement, and optimize the company’s IT network infrastructure. This includes the hands-on administration of Enterprise Firewalls, Layer 3 Switches, Routers, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
• Office & AIMS IPSec VPN connectivity.
• Support Network team on the office network during this transfer knowledge period

IT Auditing and Documentation: (Support Responsibility)

• Conduct IT audits, document configuration settings, and ensure well-maintained, accessible documentation.
• Ensure all audit items are fulfilled and compliance throughout the year.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in MIS, IT infrastructure, or systems engineering roles.
