We are looking for a Network Engineer intern to assist our task in design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a network engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Prepare documentation and report require
- Assist other team member in their daily job task
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, VLAN, VPN etc.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good technical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills
- Able to prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment
