About the Role

We are looking for a candidate who is committed to work and with positive working attitude to join us. The candidate is responsible for preparing the full set of accounts and financial reporting. Be able to meet deadlines and producing a quality report are required for this position.

Candidate with relevant experience and good personality are welcomed to join us.

Accounting:

  • Responsible for month end closing, which includes overall General Ledger (GL) function
  • Prepare income statement, balance sheet, financial report, analysis and etc
  • Ensure all inter-company transactions are correctly accounted for
  • Responsible for petty cash handling and petty cash related journal entries
  • Assist in handling annual audit
  • Assist to update fixed assets register on monthly basis, reconcile fixed assets register to the general ledger, prepare depreciation schedule and assist/coordinate in fixed assets tagging

Taxation:

  • Prepare tax computation for account closing/tax estimation purposes
  • Assist to provide information requested by the tax agent for annual tax filing
  • Responsible for preparing and submission of Sales & Service Tax (SST) return
  • Assist in all tax related matters
  • Assist in handling tax audit/GST audit/SST audit (if any)

Others:

  • Assist in implementation of GL process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure proper and up-to date maintenance of accounting and tax records and filings
  • Assist in ad hoc assignment/task as and when assigned by superior
  • Liaise with auditor, tax agent and other internal/external parties

What We’re Looking For

  • At least Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Accountancy and Finance
  • At least 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduate encouraged to apply)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work efficiently even under pressure
  • Pleasant personality and positive working attitude
  • Meticulous and timeliness in meeting deadlines
  • Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft Office applications (excel, word and power point)
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Detail oriented with good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • Knowledge of current local regulations and taxation
  • Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
