We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Presales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with clients, understanding their business needs, and presenting innovative cloud solutions. You will be the technical expert, working closely with the sales team to drive successful pre-sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges. Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored cloud solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing.
- Solution Architecture: Design and present comprehensive cloud architecture solutions to meet client objectives. Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to develop customized proposals.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions to showcase the capabilities of proposed solutions.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for proposed solutions, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Assist in the preparation of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information).
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Skillsets:
- Cloud Technologies: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud. Experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of virtualization & containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise in a pre-sales capacity.
- Understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor technical solutions accordingly.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud).
