Project Finance Assistant Manager

The function includes end to end process for all projects. Which will include the tender process, approval process for new projects, liaising with bankers for funding purposes, costing, monitoring of project progress, profit and loss preparation, analysis of revenue and costs, and forecasts (revenue, cost, gross profit and collections)

The tasks also include liaising with the other departments in Finance to ensure the project is managed accordingly. This will involve monitoring of POs, invoices, claims, collections and follow up with the necessary stakeholders.

Process improvement and automating existing processes is also a vital part of the job function.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare project P&L monthly
  • Prepare project costing and cash flows
  • Monitor and manage cost incurred against costing
  • Monitor and work on project collection
  • Accrue for project revenue and cost monthly
  • Liaise with bankers, lawyers and business owners with regards to the project
  • Present to management project costing and progress

Qualifications and requirements

  • Degree of Professional qualification in Accounting and Finance
  • 5 years of experience in supervisory role
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to meet tight deadlines

Skills and experience

  • Experience in project costing will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with SAP B1 will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with presentation tools. Eg Powerpoint
